Our academic curriculum is designed for children ages 2 to 15 and aligns with the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs), Virginia’s Alternate Assessment Program (VAAP), and Virginia’s Foundation Blocks for Early Learning. Our goal is to help your child learn, grow, and achieve at or as close to grade level as possible, providing a strong foundation for their future success.

Daily Schedule

The daily schedule is thoughtfully structured to resemble a general education classroom, featuring core subjects like Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies, alongside P.E., Music, Art, Social Skills, and daily recess for a balanced academic learning experience.

Individualized Academic Care for Every Student

We offer a diverse curriculum, including direct instruction, social skills training, functional skill development, and programs like iReady for Reading and Math, Connecting Math Concepts, Reading Mastery, Little Thinkers, and Pearson Science and Social Studies. All students are exposed to grade-level content and learn in small group settings with low ratios to ensure personalized attention.

Catalyst is used to track behaviors and monitor progress on IEP/IIP goals. Teachers manage these goals, collaborate with families, and participate in IEP/IIP meetings with each child’s home school district, ensuring all academic, social, and developmental needs are met with care.
